By effectively blending her academic background and her experience in corporate HR and training and development, Stephanie is helping a growing number of clientele and followers achieve improved relationships. Her simple, yet clear, translations of communication and psychology theories provide a practical guide for seekers of healthy relationships.
Inspired by the frequent counseling she gave to friends and associates who were experiencing communication breakdowns in their dating relationships, Stephanie Dub created her blog, Shades of Perspectives, as a way of integrating traditional communication theory with a pragmatic application of relationship coaching. Her vision was to create a safe, non-judgmental space on the internet where 20 and 30 somethings can seek and obtain new and unbiased perspectives and guidance on developing and strengthening relationships.
Unlike traditional dating sites that seek to match users or analyze the failure of relationships, Stephanie Dub’s goal is to provide a source of information for cultivating and growing relationships through the positive application of known communicative and psychological techniques.
Classically trained in relational communication theory during her undergraduate degree, Stephanie continued her academic career by obtaining a masters in Communication, with an emphasis on organizational and multicultural communication. This education is balanced with real world experience in corporate human relations where she has both trained and coached employees on improving working relationships through enhancing their interpersonal skills.
Further pursing her interest in romantic relationships, Stephanie earned her certification in IMAGO couples coaching. This unique technique focuses on creating connection based romantic relationships using strategic dialogue and listening activities.
